Im a full print subscriber, but couldnt get full access when I downloaded this app while travelling in Italy. Useless and disappointing.

With the VS Now section really being thinly veiled advertising for the most part should the pay wall not be removed? It would be easier to stomach fake sponsored stories if you did not have a subscription fee. Why would anyone pay a subscription for Associated Press stories available free everywhere and junk paid for fake journalism.

I cant seem to open, or read an article without opening an ad with the new update. I am frustrated.

The newest updates to the app are a step backwards. Not only is it very generic/plain to look at, its laced with ads and short on quality content. Take a look at the stuff.co.nz app and copy them, you will have a much better end product!

It does show the full rendition of the paper. The old version allowed the reader to make a comment about an article with the tap of a button. This new version does not have the comment button. A big disappointment. A work around is if someone else has made a comment, you can add a comment by very carefully tapping on the exact tip of the comments call-out. Your comment will appear with a huge Facebook tag. Very tacky

It was a very good app till they installed the invasive and insistent ads that pop up for a fixed amount of time, you cannot get rid of them till the timer goes, and then, on my ancient iPad 2, the whole app locks up in ghostly white. I understand the need to make money, but dont you need a functioning app first? I dont see this in ANY of the big American and British newspaper apps. Dreadful. I wont be a customer much longer, then how much revenue have the ads brought you? Ads only work if you have CUSTOMERS. Put it back like it was.

Pretty good app to read. Too bad audio does not work on video playback stories

Terrible app. Wasted $10 and didnt get to read a single line. Couldnt sign in with my email, wouldnt let me reset the password. On the iPad, the line where you insert your email address gets covers by the keypad on the screen. I tried to contact the developer for help or a refund. Wasted hours, money and didnt even get to read a single line. Finally, just cancelled my membership.

I wish there was more depth and more local articles. I feel sometimes the Metro or 24 Hour app has more local articles

The best thing is that in SECONDS it downloads an entire offline copy of the Sun!!

They have fixed the problems I wrote about in my earlier review. This app works really nice now, and I read it every day. One thing I would like to see, would be an option to scroll the pages one column at a time, rather than having to flip three columns (one slide) at a time. No complaints though, the app works great now. It would be nice to have a paid, non-advertising version of the app as an option.

Txt description disappear automatically cause reading problem. Hope can fix it.

Info is good, but serious technical problems. Cant swipe from one page to the next without repeating numerous times. Even then, when youre finally able to get to the next page, theres considerable on/off flashing of the page. I finally gave up this morning.

Ever since the latest update, my application simply stalls while trying to download the news, then crashes! Completely frustrated with it

Just found out the Canucks lost the Stanley Cup.

It takes forever to load on my 3rd gen itouch. Otherwise fine for keeping up to date on local news.

The latest update to the app fixed the slow loading issue. This a wonderful app now. Thanks for listening to the comments!
